Kindergarten Readiness and Choice
6:30 – 7:00 PM – Kindergarten “readiness”, making the transition, parents’ fears and concerns.
7:00 – 8:00 PM – Choosing a School: Observation tips and school choice review. Then, current/former SYC parents will share personal experiences with various public, parochial and alternative schools, lottery and voucher procedures.
Free for current SYC families. $10 for visitors.
We will attempt to record the event, but suggest attending in person if possible so you can ask questions and participate in the conversation.
Child care for ages 2-7 available if there is enough interest, with a priority given to current families. Sign up will open about two weeks before each event and will close three days prior to the event. $8 per child, due at time of registration. No refunds unless child care is cancelled.
